Quatre jeunes chercheurs en Suisse, Philippe Schwaller, Vit Svoboda, Subhajit Pal et François Halloy ont été sélectionnés pour pour participer à la 71e prestigieuse rencontre internationale des lauréat·e·s du Prix Nobel à Lindau fin juin 2022. L’Académie suisse des sciences naturelles (SCNAT) désigne chaque année les candidat·e·s parmi les jeunes chercheuses et chercheurs qui ont été nominés pour le Prix Schläfli.
Briefly, the new Executive Director will work collaboratively with the elected officers of the Union, reporting through the Secretary General and the Treasurer to the President, Executive Committee, Bureau, and Council to carry out the duties of the organization. The Secretariat is based in Research Triangle Park, NC, U.S.A., and consists of a staff of three working on-site and an Associate Director located at Boston University (see https://iupac.org/who-we-are/secretariat/). Remote work may be considered, but time at the Secretariat will also be needed. International travel is required.
This conference, as a continuation of the ones of 2014 and 2017, will address the use of quantum and spin states in atoms and molecules at surfaces for sensing, information storage, and information processing (logic) devices.
